Step for Life is our way of honoring and remembering the late Steven Dobarzynski, a brother of the Zeta Upsilon chapter of Kappa Kappa Psi. In 2001 Steven was diagnosed with leukemia. “Dobar,” as Steven was affectionately called, was a recovering bone marrow transplant recipient until Monday, March 25, 2002, when we lost him due to health complications. We felt it was our duty to our brother and his family to do what ever we could to help in his situation. We decided to hold a fundraiser in his name to help with his hospital bills and cancer research. With each passing year, we strive to make Step for Life bigger and better in an effort to further benefit the Steven Dobarzynski Memorial Fund and the Bone Marrow Foundation. This year, we are asking for your support!

As a chapter, there are several ways in which you can participate. If you have a step team, please consider joining teams from across the Southeast to exhibit your talents! Of course, if you do not wish to step, you are invited to support our cause through your attendance. Also, please invite other organizations on your campus that might be interested in Step for Life, either to participate or to attend. Finally, any other contributions will be greatly appreciated. All proceeds from this event will go to the Steven Dobarzynski Memorial Fund and the Bone Marrow Foundation.
